Auto industry conference headed to Vaughan
The TalkAUTO Canada conference is returning to Vaughan this November, and it could provide a glimpse into the future of the automotive industry.
TalkAUTO is sponsored by the Canadian Black Book and features a number of speakers from different parts of the industry, including Black Book General Manager Yolanda Biswah, LMC Automotive President Jeff Schuster, and Fitch Ratings Director Mike Girard. The keynote speaker will be Flavio Volpe, the president of the Automotive Parts Manufacturers Association, who will give a talk on the status of the Canadian auto industry. This year’s conference will also have the theme “Industry in Transition”, focusing on the impact of digital retailing, electronic vehicles, and the changing economy.
This is the 11th annual edition of TalkAUTO and the first to be held in-person since 2019, with the previous two years taking the form of online seminars. Industry conferences and events like this are often networking opportunities, with resume updating and business card printing a common preparation. The conference will also feature the announcement of the 2022 Canadian Black Book Best Retained Value Awards, and a trophy presentation to the winners. The most recent in-person version of this event attracted over 500 executives from various corners of the automotive industry.
TalkAUTO 2022 is set to take place on November 10 at the Universal Event Space in Vaughan.
