Ottawa’s community of fiction writers who want to ensure that their works are as realistic as possible have been invited to take a seat in a workshop that will provide an in-depth look at the world of a private security agent or investigator.
The event will be led by a former private investigator who also has experience as a chief of security and bodyguard.
Andrew, who will be leading the discussion during the session, will provide insight into the life of a private security agent, including living out of a suitcase in hotels, going to court to present a case, and also the different tasks that need to be performed in a typical working day. He will also field questions from the audience and offer ways in which the details he shares can be utilized to add a sense of realism to a fictional work.
This learning opportunity has been brought to the community by Ottawa Romance Writers Association. Its members can purchase tickets to attend the event at a discounted price, and the general public is welcome as well. Posters can often prove to be an effective way of marketing an event like this, and a local poster printing company will be able to both design and Print them to its each of its customers specifications.
This chance to get a sneak peek into the life of a private investigator and security agent will be on offer on November 4, hosted by the Nepean Centrepointe Library.
