With the coming Chinese New Year designated as the Year of the Monkey, The Ottawa Asian Lunar New Year Festival and Night Market Winter Edition will take place for three days next month.
The market is set to feature vendors who will be selling Asian-related items such as jewelry and clothing and food from local chefs. Foods will include Vietnamese iced coffee, barbecued squid on a stick and Hong Kong Style bubble waffles.
The festival will also feature singers, cultural performances, dancers, pop stars and martial arts demonstrations. One special event will be the performing of the Lion Dance. In addition, music will be provided by DJs. Visitors can enter draws for door prizes and they can enjoy a drink at the outdoor ice bar, which is made completely of ice and features a heated patio.
Many people from all over the Ottawa area will likely want to visit this festival at least once. To advertise, organizers may invest in poster printing services; these Posters can then be distributed throughout the city.
