Downtown Ottawa will be home to the Byward Beerfest this March, with the goal of providing exposure to local breweries.
Participants will start off by receiving a Winter Seasonal Beer by host Lowertown Brewery, and be able to sample a variety of local craft beers. There will also be food available to complement the drinks, with the brewery’s menu typically including meats from the smoker, tacos and flatbreads. Live music will be provided, headlined by local artists Ryan Macyntire and Whiskey River. The festival will spread across two days, with early bird tickets offered. Promotional material describes the event as part of the rising brewing culture in the National Capital Region:

The beers on tap will include everything from IPAs to stouts. The 2025 Byward Beerfest will take place at Lowertown Brewery in downtown Ottawa on the evenings of March 7 and 8.
