Ottawa arts organizations contribute to Culture Days

Ottawa Culture Days are taking place during late September.

Culture Days is a Canada-wide event that provides hundreds of art, dance and other cultural activities to the general public.

The capital will be hosting almost 30 different events during the three-day celebration. Culture Day at the Canadian Council for the Arts on October 1 will take place at the Ajegemo Art Space. There will be guided tours of the ‘Punctured Landscape’ exhibit (which closes on October 2), a free craft station and the chance for the public to add to the collective memory map.

The Ottawa Museum Network will be hosting hands-on activities and free tours at 11 venues. The 24th annual Enriched Bread Artists open studio exhibition is ending during the weekend. The grand opening of the exhibit will be September 22, and it is set to feature painting, drawing, photography, and a variety of other genres.

Other events taking place during Culture Days will include yoga, a masala bhangra workout, and a Persian dance workshop.

Those in the Ottawa area may find out about upcoming events through the distribution of Flyers and Booklets.
