The 2017 Fall Harvest Music Festival, Oktoberfest Ottawa, returns later this month with tasty food, local music, and craft beers and ciders.
Featuring the largest Beer Hall in Ontario, with more than 21,000 square feet of heated space, the festival offers 20 local craft Beers and Ciders, including Perth Brewery, Mill Street Brewery, Flying Canoe Hard Cider and Brickworks Cider.
This traditional festival also includes plenty of local food vendors, including Big D’s Dog House and Poutine Emporium and The Rocky Mountain House.
Eight performers are scheduled to showcase their musical talents throughout the weekend, including this year’s Canadian Country Music Association Award nominee Meghan Patrick.
Volunteers are needed for this event, with short four-hour shifts. As a thank you for their time, all volunteers receive a complimentary T-shirt, unrestricted access to the festival for the entire weekend, plus free food.
Sponsorship packages are still available, with over 30 sponsors and suppliers already registered. Company names and graphic design are often included on the festival Print materials, including Signs, Flyers and Brochures.
This years’ festival will be held on Thursday, September 28 to Saturday, September 30 in the Myers Volkswagen Auto Haus, located at the Strandherd Ultimate Park, at 4061 Strandherd Drive in Barrhaven Ontario.
In total, 400 limited edition full weekend passes are available, promising 26 hours of complete festival access. These passes must be purchased off the website in advance, and include three drink tokens and parking. Single day tickets are also available for purchase in advance or at the festival gates. Children under the age of 16 are free.
