Oktoberfest Ottawa is coming up at the beginning of next month. This celebration of German culture is held in cities around the world each year.
The celebrations will start off with the Kountry Koncert on its opening day with High Valley, Renegade and Counterfeit. The next evening will feature an attempt to break the Guinness World Book record for the largest beer tasting. There will also be music from the Black Forest Band and a performance by the Maple Leaf Almrauch Dancers.
The final day, which is the main festival day, will feature the arrival of the beer wagon pulled by Clydesdales, the keg tapping, polka dancing, more music, contests, and lots of food and drink to purchase.
VIP tickets for all three days are available for $199. Among the benefits are private bathrooms, beer, wine and cider, snacks, a souvenir and access to the Platinum lounge. Ticket holders also receive 50% off the cost of all official merchandise.
This is a popular event in Ottawa, so organizers are bound to invest in sign, banner, and flyer printing to get the word out.
