Baconpalooza is taking place in Ottawa next month for three days.
The festival will kick off with the Bacon Bash on September 9 from 7:00 to 11:00 pm. This event, which is for those aged 19 and over, will feature lots of bacon-themed items and foods, cooking lessons from four chefs (including Lynn Crawford and Mike McKenzie) and beer demonstrations. Musical entertainment will be provided by Bang on the Ear.
The next two days are set to have food trucks, craft beer, cooking demonstrations, cocktail tents and barbecue demonstrations. Saturday will also feature a free bacon bites breakfast and musical entertainment. Market vendors will also be on hand to sell food and bacon-themed merchandise. Sunday is set to have a bacon and bourbon demonstration and performances from five local bands.
No doubt lots of Ottawa restaurants will be interested in attending this fun festival. To advertise in the area, organizers may have invested in poster printing services.
Baconpalooza will be held at the Canada Agriculture and Food Museum from September 9 to 11. Tickets for Saturday and Sunday are $10 for adults and $5 for children between the ages of 4 and 17; a family pass is $25.
