An Ottawa event dedicated to the art of coffee, originally set for March, will now take place later in the year.
Ottawa Coffee Fest offers residents of the nation’s capital a chance to sample roasts and espresso from local brewers and beyond. Attendees will be able to vote for their favourite and enter drawings for exclusive prizes. There will also be live demonstrations and opportunities to get hands-on experience with advanced coffee-brewing techniques and the latest technology. The event will be complemented by music from local DJs Emily Jones and Sweet Cheeks.
This is set to be the second edition of Ottawa Coffee Fest, after a successful premiere in 2019 that saw the participation of local favourites like Art Is In Boulangerie, Happy Goat Coffee Company, and the ubiquitous Bridgehead. Exhibitors at shows like this often use Business Cards and brochure printing to help become a part of their customers’ regular routine. This year’s Coffee Fest will donate a portion of the proceeds to Ecology Ottawa, a local environmental nonprofit, and look to highlight issues of sustainability and the global impact of coffee.
The Ottawa Coffee Fest will take place at the historic Horticulture Building within the Lansdowne Park complex. The event was originally scheduled for March 21 and 22, but now will be rescheduled for later in the year due to concerns over coronavirus.
