Artistic makeup application workshop on offer in Ottawa

An Ottawa area hands-on workshop will soon be available for any local makeup artists who want to learn how to take their craft to the next level.

Jessica Harkonnen has planned this learning opportunity, and she will also serve as the facilitator. It will build on the skills those who participate already have in the area of makeup application.

Those who register to take part in the evening’s activities will learn about the basics of applying coloured foundations, how to create coloured eyebrows and an assortment of other artistic looks. They will also be given tips about how to craft a unique design using a variety of tools, and an airbrush will be set up so they can gets some hands-on experience in its use.

Along with all of the above, the participants will try their hand at working with liquid latex and the application of prosthetics to create unique looks. The registration fee for this learning opportunity has been set at $20 each. A printer will be able to use digital printing techniques to craft a variety of marketing materials that can promote it to the local area.

This artistic makeup application experience has been scheduled for February 28. It is tentatively planned for the Carlingwood Library, and the organizer can be contacted through her Facebook page for further details.
