Playing with Lego® is a pastime that can be enjoyed by young and old alike, and a Richmond event will provide fans of these construction blocks with an opportunity to indulge their interest.
The gathering, which has been dubbed “BrickCan”, is the largest event of its kind in the whole province. It will feature models, vendors and other fun, and its organizers noted it is suitable for any age.
The exhibit of models will include hundreds of submissions from all over the world and guests will be able to browse through them all, getting inspiration for their own creations. The space set aside for vendors will give attendees a chance to add some unique pieces to their personal Lego collection, and they can even do some building on site at the "BrickCan" Creation Station.
Tickets to enter the event are being made available to the public at a price of $15.00 each, and kids who are three or under will be admitted for free. While wheelchairs are welcome, parents are asked to leave strollers and wagons at home. Signage can help people to navigate through a large function like this, and they can be prepared by a local banner printing company.
"BrickCan" is set to return to Richmond on May 8th. It will be on offer at 8811 River Road.
