The United Way of the Alberta Capital Region will be getting its 2016 campaign off to a rolling start, and it is inviting the public to join them in the celebration.
The 2016 United Way Campaign Kickoff will see people from all across the city coming together to lend their support. On hand for the occasion will be campaign co-chairs Tom Redl and Sara Chan, and the keynote speaker will be Sarah Hendricks, who will tell the story of her life and how, with support, she was able to turn it around for her and her son.
A meal will be served during the function, and a vegetarian option is available for those who would prefer it.
Those who purchase tickets for the event before August 31 will be offered an early bird rate of $75 each, or $700 for a table of 10. After that date, they will be priced at $80 for an individual or $750 for a table. Marketing services can be used to help promote fundraising efforts such as this throughout the local community, which can help to ensure it is as successful as possible.
The 2016 United Way Campaign Kickoff will take place in Hall D of the Shaw Conference Centre, located at 9797 Jasper Avenue NW, on September 15th from 11:30 am until 1:30 pm. Further details are available on the function’s Eventbrite listing.
