An event aimed at beer fans will take over an Edmonton venue this September, and it will offer lots of sipping, sampling and savouring.
The organizers of Barrel Fest have put together a line-up of barrel-aged beer, and these drinks will be sourced from all over the world. This year will be the sixth edition of the celebration, and it will run for five hours.
The attendees will be invited to enjoy tastings of wooden-aged beers and ciders, and their makers will be all be experts in the art preparing these speciality beverages. Each ticket holder will receive a specially designed Barrel Fest glass to use and keep, and samples will be 100 ml each. IDs will need to be presented for entry, and the function is only open to those age 18 and up. Pets will not be permitted. Both general admission and designated driver tickets may be purchased.

Barrel Fest will bring the fun to Edmonton’s Blind Enthusiasm Brewing Company on Saturday, September 12th. The festivities will run from 1:00 pm until 6:00 pm at 7727 98 Street Northwest.
