Ever Active Schools is a national level not-for-profit group that supports healthy school communities, and it has planned a fundraiser with a twist for Edmonton this spring.
The group has organized its first ever Running Shoe Gala, which it plans on making an annual event. It will be hosted at the Art Gallery of Alberta, and both table and individual tickets are available. The price tag starts at $160.15 per person.
Each ticket holder for the evening will be able to enjoy a four-course meal with their choice of entree, and they are asked to come dressed to impress – while wearing their favourite pair of sneakers. The program will offer a view into Ever Active Schools and its various initiatives, and there will also be an assortment of entertainment on offer. A silent auction of both items and special experiences will take place, and charitable tax receipts will be provided.
Functions hosted by a charitable group like this are often planned as both funding and awareness-raising events. A poster printing company will be able to prepare an assortment of attention-grabbing materials using wide-format techniques for such an occasion.
The first Running Shoe Gala will be on offer on May 28th at 2 Sir Winston Churchill Square, Edmonton. The doors of the function will open to the guests at 6:00 pm.
