A pop-up summer market that is on the agenda for Edmonton will add some extra excitement to the season, and it will give local makers some time in the sun.
The city will be hosting the Original Witches Market, and it will take place at 7308-112 Avenue. It will be open to browsers and buyers for two days, and will offer an eclectic mix of items and experiences.
The 40 or more vendors that will be taking part in the weekend will have their tables set up both indoors and outside the venue, and to add even more value to the festivities, a selection of these small businesses will be running a workshop. Refreshments will be available for purchase, and Black Star Baby Tats will have exclusive materials on offer, including teeth gems. Admission to the market is free, but donations to its charity of choice will be appreciated.
Community markets often attract quite a crowd, giving local small businesses a chance to build their customer base. Business Cards, Packaging supplies and booth decor are often ordered by participating businesses for such an event.
The original Edmonton Witches Market will be making its return on June 3rd and 4th. Its gates will open to the public on both days at 10:00 am.
