Christmas ornaments made by hand are often much more special than store-bought decorations, and Edmonton families are being welcomed to craft some pieces in an upcoming workshop that may become treasured keepsakes in the years to come.
A local ceramic studio will be hosting an evening of creativity for all ages. Each family will craft five ornaments to hang on their tree, and all of the supplies, as well as the final firing, are included in the registration fee.
The participants in the activity will be encouraged to let their creativity flow, decorating their own ornaments using the brushes, paints and stencils provided. Staff will be on hand to provide any assistance needed, and after the session is over, the pieces will be fired in the kiln. They will be ready for pick up around one week later.
Seating reservations are being accepted from any who wishes to be a part of the fun. The registration fee for the workshop is $50 each, and two different start times are available. Flyers offer a cost-effective way to promote this type of activity, and these can be readily sourced from a local flyer printing company.
Crankpots Ceramic Studio will be offering both of the family friendly crafting sessions on December 6th. The studio can be found at 10702 82 Avenue in Edmonton.
