The three-day River Cree Holiday Market is right around the corner, and those who choose to include it in their plans will find lots of ideas that may be perfect presents for those on their guest list. It will be hosted at the River Cree resort and Casino, and there will be lots to see and do.
The shoppers can enjoy some leisurely browsing and buying, and the items will be made in the local area by Indigenous artists and crafters. Live entertainment is in the works, and food will be in the mix as well. Santa will be on hand to spend time with kids and pose for free photo ops, and admission to the function will be by donation to the Helping Hands initiative. Toiletry and personal hygiene items are in high demand by the community served by this not-for-profit organization.
