Residents of Edmonton are invited to attend an event this October that will boast items prepared by local crafters.
The Norwood Legion has set aside two days in October to host the October Fall Craft and Vendor Market, which is a production of The Vendor Connection. Admission and parking are both free, and the list of participating vendors already includes at least 40 participants.
To thank the public for coming out and showing some love to the local small business community, the planners will be distributing door prizes to the first 25 shoppers to arrive, and there is no purchase necessary. There will be other prizes awarded, as well as a 50/50 draw and a meat draw, and an assortment of baskets will be up for grabs in the raffle. Such baskets often include Corporate Gifts and other items.
This event will give local small businesses and crafters a way to showcase themselves to the public, and there may still be room available for more on the list. Anyone who is interested in doing so is asked to contact the organizers by phone.
The October Fall Craft and Vendor Market has been planned for Saturday, October 16th and Sunday, October 17th. It will be held from 11am to 5pm on Saturday, and 11am to 4pm on Sunday. The address of the Norwood Legion is 11150 82 Street.
