Edmonton golfers to tee off for top prize

Golfers in the Edmonton area who would like to put their skills to the test and raise money for good causes may find that an upcoming fundraiser is just the activity have been looking for.

This August, the Highlands Golf Club will be the venue for an annual Rotary Club fundraiser, which has been consistently popular since its inception five years ago. The monies raised through ticket sales and sponsorships will fund several projects, and the primary beneficiary of the day will be The Lurana Shelter.

The play will kick off with a shotgun start, and the registration fee includes the golf, as well as the use of a cart, on-course beverages, lunch, dinner with wine, and lots of other perks. Tax receipts will be provided upon request.

One of the big draws of the day is expected to be the Million Dollar Hole-in One contest. The competitor who makes the shot will receive the tournament's top prize of one million dollars. Many organizers choose to order Promotional Products and other swag for tournaments like this.

The 5th annual Rotary Million Dollar Hole-in-One Golf Tournament will offer a day of fun and camaraderie on August 14th. It will kick off with lunch, which will be served to the registrants starting at 11:30, and tickets start at $300, plus any applicable taxes and fees.
