Whether they have a companion bird, are considering adding one to their family or they just want to learn more about parrots and parakeets, an Edmonton pop-up event is set to have lots on offer for local bird nerds.
The 7th annual Edmonton Pet Parrot Show will celebrate feathered members of the family, and it is on the way to the Wyndham Edmonton Hotel & Conference Centre.
The gathering will give its attendees an opportunity to get up close and personal with a wide variety of birds, both large and small. They can learn about their care requirements and whether or not they are the right companion animal for them. A vendor market can help them stock up on treats and supplies for their birds, and a silent auction and scavenger hunt have both been scheduled too. The activity has been organized by the Greater Edmonton Parrot Society.

This day of feathery fun will begin at 10:00 am on March 2nd. Its doors will be open from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm. Admission passes may be purchased at the door.
