Edmonton event to show love to Mother Nature

A fundraiser for the Greater Edmonton Alliance is right around the corner for the city, and it will bring together food, nature and lots of fun.

The Greater Edmonton Alliance has organized an event that will offer the chance to reconnect with the land and find out how, when people stand together, they can move mountains for Mother Nature. The entire family is welcome, and while they enjoy themselves, the attendees will learn how the Lady Flower Gardens was saved from development.

During the Reconnect with the Land for a Greater Edmonton Alliance Fundraiser, there will be tours of the location’s old growth forest, and these will be led by a seasoned expert. Food and other refreshments will be served by the yurt, and Fern’s Flower Garden will be open for visits. There will be special fun just for the kids in the vegetable garden, and tickets to be part of the experience are $25.00. Those age 14 and under will not need to pay to enter.

A community celebration like this may attract a large crowd, and a banner printing company can help add to the festivities. It will be able to provide everything from signage to décor.

The Reconnect with the Land for a Greater Edmonton Alliance Fundraiser will kick off at 9:30 am on August 5th. The Lady Flower Gardens can be found at 20303 - 33 Street in Northeast Edmonton.
