A session that will be taking place in Edmonton this autumn will give those who participate a better understanding of the differences between new world and old world wines.
The 7degrees Wine School: Old World Ancestors of New World Wines evening will include a discussion of why the same grapes grown in different countries can produce very distinct wines. Four styles will be presented for sampling, with old and new world examples of each. Information about the climate, soil conditions, and other factors that can affect their flavour will also be supplied.
Suggested wine and food pairings will be shared with those who take part, and throughout the evening, they will be supplied with specially prepared snacks and other appetizers. The goal is for people to learn and have fun doing so. A booklet printing company can produce Booklets that contain more information about the topic for people to take home from an event such as this
The cost to participate in this session designed to provide a greater understanding of the world of wines is $65 each. It will take place at the Blackbird Café, located at 9640-142 Street NW in Edmonton, from 7:00 pm until 10:00 pm on October 5.
Further details and a chance to register ahead of time can be found on the Eventbrite listing that has been set up for the function.
