When it comes to wine, an Edmonton celebration is set to be one of the city’s top events for the upcoming year.
The ticketholders for Winefest Edmonton will be treated to an opportunity to sample wine from all over the world, and many different countries will be represented. There are three sessions on the agenda, and admission starts at $115.
The festival will see vino lovers treated to everything from port wines to red, white and rosé wines. Sparkling, dessert and ice wines will also be in the mix, and to help showcase each pour, there will be an assortment of food pairings available, ranging from savoury to sweet. As alcohol will be served, the function is limited to adults only.
This event could be a fun idea for a date night or evening with friends, though people are welcome to attend alone. To thank the attendees for the support of the event, they will each go home with a wine glass printed with a special graphic design. Tickets for the three sessions are on offer now.
This year's Winefest Edmonton is on the way for February 24th and 25th. The Edmonton Convention Centre will serve as the venue for the festivities, and a block of rooms has been reserved for the guests to book at a special price at the nearby Westin Edmonton.
