Edmonton event on offer for arson investigators

The field of arson investigation is one that is continually evolving. Those who have a career as a fire investigator and want to make sure they are up to date with the most current trends in the industry can attend an upcoming Edmonton conference.

Ed Nordskog, who is a professional arson profiler and analyst, will be sharing his knowledge, experience and skills with attendees at this year’s Advanced Arson Workshop, which will be held at the Edmonton Police Service Training Center. There will be opportunities for the group to ask questions, and the training will run for two days.

Attendees will learn using real life scenarios, and the topics addressed will range from arson profiles to incendiary devices and fire death investigations. Nordskog has many years of experience, and has worked with the Los Angeles Sheriff's Arson/Bomb Squad. He has also written several Books on the subject.

Registration for this workshop is now open, and the fee includes snacks and lunch. As there will be opportunities for participants to network and discuss their own experiences.
