Edmonton is about to offer its veterans a salute when it welcomes an event that will be all about remembrance and giving back.
A Dance to Remember, which will be a fundraising evening hosted by No Stone Left Alone, will be a gala affair. Its goal is to both honour veterans and raise funds for programming that educates students about the sacrifices they have made.
When they arrive at the JW Marriott Edmonton ICE District, which will be the venue for the celebration, each guest will receive a signature cocktail to sip on while they mingle, and they will then be invited to take their seat for the dinner. The program includes messages of inspiration and impact, as well as a time to reflect, and the poignant “Toast to the Fallen” will be read. A dance will follow, and a live auction is also on the agenda.
Passes for the activity are $375.00 each, and tickets for tables of 10 have also been made available. Donations will also be welcome. Printed programs for a fundraiser or formal event can be prepared by Stationery printers.
The 9th Annual Dance to Remember will be providing an evening of remembrance and giving to veterans and those who did not make it home, as well as their families, on November 9th. Tickets are available through the Canada Helps website.
