Electricians in Edmonton who would like to improve their skills have been offered a chance to do so by a local training organization.
The Electrical Contractors Association of Alberta has made arrangements to offer its Fire Alarm Training Course, and it will be specifically designed for the province. It can serve as both an introductory or refresher course, and it includes at least 36 hours of instructional time.
The organizer of this activity has explained that it meets the requirements set out for journeypersons, and when they complete the training, they will be assigned a PIN they can use for the maintenance of Fire Alarm Systems. While it will be Alberta specific, those from out of province are welcome as well, and an exam is included in the syllabus for the program.
The registration fee for this learning opportunity darts at $995, and this includes the instruction, as well as lunch and a manual that participants will be able to keep for future use. A printing services company can supply bound texts and other materials for this type of learning session.
The start date for this course is March 22nd, and it will be on offer at 17725 - 103 Avenue. Questions should be forwarded to the organizers directly and further details can be found on the Electrical Contractors Association of Alberta’s website.
