The Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) is celebrating its 100th year, and an Edmonton event will mark the occasion for the city.
Whether they were a full-time Forces member, reservist or air cadet, former RCAF members and their families are invited to attend the RCAF Centenary Dinner, which is scheduled for mid-April. It will both celebrate the past and look forward to the future, and members of the general public are also welcome to attend the function.
Those who purchase tickets are asked to wear formal attire or their mess dress kit. The evening will open with a cocktail mixer hour, and after this, the diners will be invited to take their seats. There will be special guests on hand, and the Royal Canadian Artillery Band will provide the live entertainment. Parking is covered by the ticket price, which starts at $91.86, including fees and taxes.
Military dinners are often full of tradition, including elements like The Empty Table. A local printing services company will be happy to prepare custom printed Menus, seating cards and programs for special events similar to this one.
The RCAF 100th Anniversary Dinner will be welcoming guests starting at 6:00 pm on April 13th. The event is slated to run until 10:00 pm, and passes for the occasion may be purchased through its Eventbrite listing.
