Edmonton Centre plans open house fundraiser

Zebra Child and Youth Advocacy Centre provides both support and a voice for kids in Edmonton, and it will be opening its doors for a sneak peek into how it functions on a day-to-day basis.

The Centre will be hosting its Zebra Herd Homecoming in early October, and it will be held on the building’s 7th floor. The space is child friendly, and reservations are requested so that as many as possible may be accommodated.

The activity will provide the public with an opportunity to see how the Centre functions and what sorts of supports it offers. Staff will be on hand, and there will also be volunteers and accredited Facility Dogs to meet. There is no entry fee, and visits can be scheduled from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm on the day of the open house.

While this activity is being hosted free of charge, it will serve as a fundraiser for the facility. Donations will be gratefully accepted, and on the day of the open house, all contributions up to $20,000 will be matched by the EPCOR Heart and Soul Fund. Stationery printers will be able to produce materials that offer those who make a donation to a cause some details about how their generosity will make a difference.

The Zebra Child and Youth Advocacy Centre will be opening its doors for this special day at 10:00 am on Sunday, October 2.
