Many people go shopping on Boxing day to try and take advantage of the deals that are offered by many stores, and in Edmonton it was especially busy, according to reports.
Though online shopping is an option, many people still came out to places like the West Edmonton Mall, which opened its doors two and a half hours early to allow shoppers to take full advantage of the low prices. It’s the largest mall in North America, with 20,000 spaces for customers to park, but even this was not enough and the lots were filled to capacity, with the vehicles of the people who were browsing its 800 stores trying to find the best deals possible.
According to shoppers who spoke to the Edmonton Sun, the lines were long and the temperatures cold, but it was still worth it to save some money. Those with whom the publication spoke were all pleased with the low prices, and they had all managed to score some real bargains. Many also used the gift cards they had received for Christmas to make their purchases, the Edmonton Sun reported.
For lots of people, going out shopping on Boxing Day is a tradition, and Print companies can get the word out to help them plan their day of browsing the deals. Professional printers can also produce materials that remind people how they can redeem their gift cards in store as well as online, which can encourage them to come out and brave the crowds.Get a Free Quote for Print
