The 39th annual Ace Awards Gala is taking place next month in Edmonton.
A presentation of the Advertising Club of Edmonton, the awards are given to those in the advertising community and are of interest to those who work in the marketing, public relations, printing and communications industries.
There are a number of categories in which awards will be handed out on the night; they include the best Campaign, Innovative Use of Technology, Packaging, Branded Environment Print, Illustration and Typography. In addition, the Fellowship Award will be given to an individual who has made significant contributions to the industry.
The evening will begin with a cocktail reception, which will be succeeded by a short program. It will be followed by dinner, the awards presentations and an after-party.
In addition to highlighting the best companies in Edmonton and area, these awards are also a networking opportunity for those who work in graphic design and other related fields; there will be many chances to briefly discuss business and exchange cards.
The Ace Awards Gala will be held at the Shaw Conference Centre on April 7 from 5:30 to 10:00 PM. Tickets for Advertising Club of Edmonton members are $157.50 for professionals or $78.75 for students, and $183.75 or $91.75 for non-members. Tables of 10 are available for $1,470.00.
