Pavement workshop planned for Edmonton
An event is on the way for Edmonton that will be all about asphalt and other pavement types.
The Canadian Society for Civil Engineering recently announced the date for the Western Canada Pavement Workshop, and it will be held in mid-February. It has been designed for those in the construction, pavement design and maintenance sectors, and the Delta Hotels Edmonton South Conference Centre will be the venue for the symposium.
The two-day event will be filled with presentations, workshops and other learning activities, and the University of Alberta will share the results of its research into pavement. Sustainability and resilience will be on the agenda. Those who are interested will be able to sign up for the Surface Treatment Training Camp add on, and a reception mixer is also in the works. Rooms are available at the venue for a discounted rate for registrants of the conference. There are a variety of ticket types available.
Symposiums give those in a particular sector the opportunity to learn from industry experts, as well as one another. A brochure printing company can prepare conference packages to distribute to the attendees.
