Make a day of it at Show & Shine
Show & Shine will take place at the Marketplace at Callingwood on July 14 from 12:30 pm - 4:30 pm and is expected to be an annually occurring event. This is a free family-friendly day, the proceeds of which will go to the Edmonton Humane Society.
The show is set to feature many refurbished custom cars and boats. In addition, there will be musical entertainment such as Bobby Boogaloo for the kids, food and refreshment concessions, and venders offering the likes of balloon animals, face painting, bounce houses, auto detailing services, rope skipping demonstrations and lessons, a Stuff 'n Fluff workshop, and a raffle for the chance to test drive a NASCAR sanctioned race car. At the Stuff 'n Fluff workshop, children will have the chance to create their very own stuffed animal, such as cats, dogs, or bunnies, which comes with a cost for materials.
The Edmonton Humane Society will attend the event with an information booth. No doubt, local printing companies will be called upon for brochure printing and poster printing services to provide the necessary information about the organization. They might also be asked to design and create free promotional items to be given away to anyone who wants them.
There can be no better way to show support for the important work done by this worthwhile organization than spending an activity packed day with the family here. With the large increase in stray dogs and cats, the Edmonton Humane Society provides a necessary service which everyone, especially pet owners, may be interested in supporting.
