Fall Edmonton market to welcome shoppers
Edmonton is about to get a little bit spookier thanks to an upcoming pop-up crafter’s market.
The Norwood Legion will be the place to be for those who would like to get a jump start on purchasing holiday gifts for everyone on their list. There will also be decor and other items that fit into its Halloween and autumn theme, and both admission and parking are free of charge.
The vendors that will have goods on offer will include at least 40 small businesses, and the first 25 members of the public through the door will go home with a prize. The Legion will be selling tickets for its even split and meat draws, and there will also be a raffle, where the prizes will be gifts donated by one of the participating small businesses. A basket raffle is in the works, and anyone who is interested in booking a table is asked to call the organizers to discuss this further.
Taking part in community markets gives area crafters and makers an opportunity to connect with new customers. Business cards may be useful marketing tools for this sort of occasion.
