Edmonton retreat to welcome local crafters
The arrival of fall can get a person’s creative juices flowing, and a retreat will offer a way for Edmonton residents to get crafty.
Elkstone Studio will be the host for a three-day weekend that will welcome crafters of all kinds, whether they quilt, scrapbook, knit or enjoy another creative pastime. Each attendee will have their own table assigned to them so they can spread out, and it is anticipated that it will be an environment that will foster the creative spirit.
Participants will have access to a scrap fabric ‘mosh pit’, and there will be samples of quilts and other stitched projects on display to help inspire people. Ironing boards will be available, and those who choose to stay overnight will have their meals supplied. Attendees staying off site will receive lunch and dinner, and the organizers have four packages on offer for interested crafters to choose from.
