Climbing Mount Everest would certainly be a challenge to just about anyone, and one Edmonton resident has decided to rise to the occasion. Leo Namen will be heading to Himalayas, and the public is invited to give him a festive send off.
Namen will be departing from Edmonton International Airport, and the support of the community will be greatly appreciated. His trek will be a history maker, as once he reaches the summit, he will not only be the first Latino to make the climb, he will also be the first Canadian to do so after surviving a heart attack.
According to Namen, he has taken on the challenge because he wants to raise awareness about the importance of heart health and that, even after a heart attack, it’s still possible to live a full and active life. The University of Alberta, the Heart and Stroke Foundation and the Mazankowski Alberta Heart Institute will all benefit from his efforts.
An excursion like this can be a costly undertaking, and often depends upon the support of the corporate community for its success. The Logo Design of each of these partners can been added to a fundraising website set up for the activity.
This big send off for Namen has been scheduled for September 2nd, and the organizers are counting on as many as possible being on hand to give him the best bon voyage they can.Get a Free Quote for Logo Design
