Affectionately known to many as “GEARS” the Greater Edmonton Animal Rescue Society provides a second chance to companion animals, and its signature golf fundraiser will be teeing off this coming September.
The golfers who register for the Putts for Paws tournament will be playing at the Edmonton Garrison Memorial Golf and Country Club, and all skill levels are welcome. To help get the day off to a great start, breakfast is included in the registration fee, and it will be a friendly competition.
Once everyone has checked in and had their breakfast, it will be time for the tourney to begin. Individuals early bird tickets are $155, and foursomes may sign up for $620, and this price will be on offer until July 15th. Optional “passports” are $25.00 each, and lunch will be served out on the course. Raffles, skill testing contests and other chances for the ticket holders to go home with a prize are all in the works.
