Gin has come a long way in recent years, and an Edmonton event will showcase this popular beverage in a variety of ways.
This year will mark the second time that the Heavenly Gin Festival has been on offer in the city, and this year, the theme is “Forgive me, for I Have Ginned”. Its listing explained that its first year was a hit, and the tickets sold out well in advance.
The guests at the gathering will be invited to sample the offerings prepared by 13 gin makers, and both local and international boutique style companies will be in the lineup. Everyone can taste test the mini cocktails prepared by the vendors and vote for their top pick, and Halo I Bistro will provide the appetizers. The attendees will also receive a gift certificate for the eatery, and a live DJ will be supplying the tunes. There will be no fee charged for parking.
