Edmonton evening to celebrate Canadian cultural icon

For many Canadians who grew up in the 80’s, Degrassi Junior High and the sequels were part and parcel of their teenage years. An Edmonton event will take its audience members back to those days, and it will be held as summer draws to a close.

The Starlite Room has planned a screening of the made-for-tv movie ‘Degrassi High: School’s Out’, and both general admission and VIP packages are on offer. Those who opt for the VIP experience will be treated to a special evening that even includes a chance to meet two of the stars of the show. Both ticket options include the screening, dance party and chance to sit in on a Q and A session with two of the cast members.

VIP ticket holders will be offered early admission to the event, and will also have first choice of seats for the show. They will also be invited to a meet and greet with the stars of the picture, and will receive a pre-signed poster, which will be prepared by a poster printing company. There will also be photo ops and swag Bags will be distributed, and along with all of this, VIPs will get first crack at the merch tables.

The screening of the film will be held on August 31st and tickets start at $30.
