Award-winning Edmonton event to light up the night
A Halloween display that has won awards will soon be lighting up the night in Edmonton, and it will feature thousands of carved pumpkins and other luminaries.
The one-of-a-kind Pumpkins After Dark experience will see attendees stroll along luminated paths, and the pumpkin decor will be prepared by hand by Canadian artists. The route is approximately one kilometre long, with over 10,000 pumpkins that have all been carved by hand, and it will be a family friendly affair.
The event has taken almost 12 months to plan and prepare, and it will kick off in late September, with all of the designs featured to be new for this year. There will be music playing to help build a festive atmosphere, and the ticket holders can count on there being plenty of photo opportunities. It will be spooky rather than scary, and will open after sunset on each of its scheduled dates. There will be treats available, and people will also be able to sit in on a live pumpkin carving demonstration. While the venue is wheelchair accessible, assistance may be required.
An event like this can be promoted across a community through poster printing services.
The Pumpkins After Dark event is scheduled to run from Friday, September 27th to Thursday, October 31st. Borden Park will be the location for the event.
