The 24th annual Global News Women of Vision celebration dinner is taking place next month in Edmonton.
Twelve women who were featured on Global News last year will be honored during the evening. Among this year's honorees are Audrey Poitras from the Metis Nation of Alberta, scientist Stephanie Bach, Cecile Bukmeier, a NAIT Autobody Technician and Marcy Mydlak and Carol Olivieri of Blue Kettle. The women will have the opportunity to tell their stories during the gala.
The host for the evening will be Lesley MacDonald. The night will start off with a wine reception which will be followed by a sit-down dinner. There will be live entertainment and drawings for door prizes; the grand prize being a VIP business class trip to Iceland for two. The evening will end with a post-reception. The celebration will be broadcast on Global News in the future.

The Global News Women of Vision celebration dinner will be held at the Edmonton Convention Centre on April 4 from 4:30pm to 10pm. Tickets are $175 or $50 for the wine reception only. Tables for 10 are available.
