The Edmonton Indy will be held July 22 – 24, featuring a track that has been revamped, with a 13-turn circuit.
“I’m excited to go out and see exactly where the track is going to lay out,” said Paul Tracy.
Tracy is a well-known Canadian driver who will compete in the race. Other drivers include Dario Franchitti, Will Power and Danica Patrick.
The Works Art and Design Festival runs June 23 to July 5. It will feature over 250 exhibits, performances and workshops both in and around the downtown area. This will be the biggest design and art festival, of this type, in North America.
July 8 to 17, the Edmonton International Street Performers Festival will be held at Churchill Square. Expect to see sword swallowers, acrobats, hip hop performers, jugglers and the likes from around the world. Once known as Klondike Days, Capital Ex runs from July 22 to 31. This famous midway carnival is known for its fantastic parades, carnival rides, concerts, midway, fireworks and casino.
From July 21 to 30, the Taste of Edmonton will be held. Booths will be set up by many Edmonton restaurants where food can be sampled. The venue for this event is Churchill Square.
Many other events and attractions will be held in Edmonton this summer. Printers in Edmonton likely prepared much of the promotional materials for these festivities, such as banner printing, poster printing and brochure printing.
