Upcoming tech-innovation and entrepreneurial forum to be held in Narre Warren

With companies like Uber and Airbnb significantly raising the profile of digital disruption over the last twelve months, the third annual Tech-Innovation and Entrepreneurial Forum in Narre Warren is attracting significant interest in the local business community.

Focused on technical innovation and digital disruption across all industries, the event will run from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm on Tuesday, August 2 and is to be held at the City of Casey Civic Centre in Narre Warren. The local business community has been invited to attend via Flyers and emails that list the planned presentations from local innovative businesses and entrepreneurs.

Presentations will be interspersed with networking breaks where people will have the opportunity to learn from, and chat with, other individuals involved in innovative businesses. The organisers hope to create a culture of innovation and collaboration in the region that will benefit not only businesses and entrepreneurs, but the region as a whole.

The event will also feature a presentation by AusIndustry on career opportunities in the Innovation and Science sectors, plus a competition in the style of popular TV show ‘Shark Tank’, where young entrepreneurs will have the chance to sell their product or service to a panel of business professional with the aim of winning backing and support for their idea.
