Umbilical Brothers to perform at Narre Warren

Internationally acclaimed Australian comedy duo The Umbilical Brothers will be bringing their show ‘Speedmouse’ to Victoria at the end of August.

Fondly known as the Umbies, David Collins and Shane Dundas have been performing their signature brand of comedy for over 20 years. They have been on shows such as ‘The Tonight Show with Jay Leno’ and ‘The Late Show with David Letterman’ and performed at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, the Adelaide Fringe Festival, the Sydney Opera House and even before the Queen.

Using minimal props, the Umbies blend physical and vocal antics, puppetry, mimicry, and audience participation and have been described by one critic in the Sydney Morning Herald as “Marcel Marceau on really good drugs”.

The duo has performed in over 30 countries and won many awards. Their comedy appeals to all ages, from toddlers to college students and older audiences. They have also voiced the animated children’s show, Maisy, and published a children’s book, A Monster in my House.
