TV presenter to give business talk in Casey

This year's Casey Cardinia Business Breakfast Series is set to come to an end later this month, with a special appearance from media consultant George Negus.

Mr Negus is a former high school teacher who became a reporter and television presenter. He first became known as a reporter on current affairs show The Day Tonight, which began in the late 1960s, and has also worked on programmes such as 60 Minutes and Dateline. Mr Negus specialised in international affairs and has travelled extensively, including to the Middle East, writing several Books on his experiences.

He also runs his own media consulting company, which he has operated for the past two decades with his partner Kirsty Cockburn, who is also a journalist.

The breakfasts are open to anyone in the City of Casey, including company owners from Narre Warren, and are a good chance for local entrepreneurs to learn from experts, and swap ideas with fellow businesspeople.

Professional business card printing is a must at these sorts of events, where important relationships can be developed.
Companies which would like to promote themselves further can enquire about table sponsorship, which involves a company logo being displayed around the room.

The event, which includes a full breakfast, will be held at the Cardinia Cultural Centre in Pakenham on Wednesday November 20. The breakfast runs from 6:45am to 9:00am. For more information or to book, visit the City of Casey council's website. Registrations close on Monday November 18.
