An upcoming event in Narre Warren is offering participants a chance to get out in nature and give something back to the planet.
Hosted by the TreeProject organisation, environmentally conscious individuals are invited to get their hands dirty with a day of tree planting in the natural wonder of the Yarra Valley. A non-profit organisation, TreeProject is dedicated to the revegetation of the state of Victoria.
Charities and not-for-profit organisations often look to professional poster printing services to create eye-catching advertisements that promote their latest campaigns to raise awareness for important issues.
The event will involve attendees planting up to 3,000 seedlings, helping to protect waterways, improving ecosystems and creating habitats for wildlife. Those taking part must have good physical fitness, as the day will require walking, bending and digging, often on ground that is not even.
All those attending the tree-planting day will get to enjoy morning tea and a wholesome lunch. The event also offers attendees a chance to meet new friends and learn about our environment as part of a positive experience.
The Tree Planting Day - Narre Warren East will take place on Friday, September 2 and will begin at 1184 Wellington Road. This event will start at 9 am and end at 4 pm. Tree-planting days adhere strictly with state government restrictions for COVID-19.
