Narre Warren to hear rock music from Melbourne

Narre Warren rock fans will be happy to hear that Melbourne rockers British India are coming to the city this winter.

June will see the five-piece band play live at District 14 as part of their headline tour dubbed “Threshold American”.

Known for their distinctive stage presence and sound, British India began playing together in 2003 when they met at high school.

The band consists of Declan Melia on lead vocals and guitar, Nic Wilson on lead guitar, Will Drummond on bass and Matt O'Gorman on the drums.

Early influences cited by British India include The White Stripes, The Strokes and Interpol.
