Free seminar to explore and educate on self-managed super funds

Superannuation and controlling it for use in retirement will be the topic of discussion at a seminar to be held in Narre Warren, Victoria.

The event will be hosted by ZJL Partners’ principal accountant, Peter Locandro, who specialises in the area of Self-Managed Superannuation Funds (SMSF).

He is also the author of Retiring in Comfort: How to Build Wealth For Your Future, which was published recently.

Locandro said people would be surprised at how easy it was to use a self-managed superannuation fund to create a healthy super total.

The free seminar will provide a step-by-step guide on the best way to create wealth that is tax free and accessible in retirement.

The seminar will cover a range of topics, including the use of SMSF to buy commercial and residential property, reasons for and against using SMSF to invest in property, seven important benefits of SMSF, and how to live a tax-free life from the age of 55 through a structured approach to investing.

Locandro said when it came to superannuation, many people would download information off the internet and read about the subject, but few really understood how the process worked.

The free seminar will be held at 1.30pm on February 27th, at Quest Apartments, Narre Warren. Organisers could turn to brochure printers for promotional materials that would help to advertise the event.
