Festive fare arriving at Narre Warren
A local Narre Warren hotel will be offering guests a relaxed approach to Christmas dining this December.
Narre Warren’s Fountain Gate Hotel has announced its dedicated Christmas menu and is now inviting diners to relax and sit back while its restaurant team handles the cooking duties on the 25th. A selection of antipasto platter and fresh seafood platters will start the day with natural oysters with lemon on ice, chilled ocean prawns and Tasmanian smoked salmon with capers, cream cheese and red onion, along with cured and smoked meats.
The buffet menu will also offer plenty of hot courses including roast pork loin, turkey with classic cranberry sauce, maple and bourbon glazed leg ham and Mediterranean Couscous, Singapore noodles and Szechuan pepper calamari for those with less traditional tastes.
As for dessert, there will be a traditional Christmas pudding with brandy custard and Pavlova with whipped cream, passion fruit and strawberries, as well as a choice of cakes and slices.
Christmas lunch at the Fountain Gate Hotel will take place on Sunday, December 25 from 11.30 am onwards. The hotel can be found within the Fountain Gate Shopping Centre, located on Overland Drive in Narre Warren.
