A Narre Warren venue is set to welcome an internationally acclaimed comedian.
Urzila Carlson, the famed South African-Kiwi comedian, will be performing two shows back-to-back in Narre Warren on her upcoming tour of Australia. Those organising national and international tours often rely on professional printing services to create branded promotional materials like Brochures, Posters and Flyers to attract attendance at concert dates.
The upcoming tour will see Carlson introduce a brand-new show entitled ‘It’s Personal’ to Australian audiences in 11 different towns and cities across the country.
Born in South Africa in 1976, Carlson worked as a production manager for the most prominent newspaper in the country. In 2006, she emigrated to New Zealand, and in 2018, was named Australasian Ambassador for South African Tourism. A regular face on Australian and New Zealand television shows, she has been a panellist on numerous programmes, including “Have You Been Paying Attention?” and “The Masked Singer”. She was also a contestant on the New Zealand show “Taskmaster”.
In 2019, Carlson featured on Netflix’s Comedians of the World and in the same year, the Variety Artists Club of New Zealand presented her with the Rielly Comedy Award.
Urzila Carlson will now perform live at Bunjil Place, located at 2 Patrick NE Drive in Narre Warren, on Friday, June 3 and Saturday, June 4.
