Preparations are well underway for the staging of this year’s Casey Kids Carnival.
The free event that attracts volunteers from Narre Warren, Victoria and throughout the City of Casey, is designed especially for the enjoyment of children.
Flyers are already advertising events on the 2016 programme including interactive workshops and free events for art and craft enthusiasts, plus face painting and a petting farm featuring a selection of cute animals.
Event organisers said special guests set to delight audiences in live performances will include characters from The Wizard of Oz as well as a range of roving entertainers.
Children and parents will be able to enjoy amusement rides, food and market stalls which will also be part of the annual celebration.
The City of Casey has once again enlisted the support of volunteers to assist at the event, which has often featured on local promotional materials including Holiday Cards.
According to organisers, volunteers are an important part of staging the event as they assist with many areas including set up, managing activities and queues, working as photography assistants, market researchers, stage helpers, distributing sunscreen and water, cleaning up at the end of the day and much more.
The Casey Kids Carnival, which is an event for all the family, will be held at Akoonah Park, Berwick, on April 9 from 11am to 4pm. Entry is free. Get a Free Quote for Holiday Cards Get a Free Quote for Flyers
